There’s been a lot of talk about Britney Spears‘ upcoming collaboration with Iggy Azalea for months, but now we finally have some solid information on the highly-anticipated single.
It’s titled Pretty Girls and it was produced by The Invisible Men, who were behind Iggy’s breakout hit Fancy.
Funnily enough, British girl band Little Mix are listed as co-writers on the track, which probably means that Pretty Girls was originally created to be a song for them but was then handed over to Britney for whatever reason.
The team thatpulls the strings manages Britney recently confirmed
that the pop princess is now shifting her focus to putting out “great
singles” instead of a full album for the foreseeable future. Hopefully
that means that we’ll get to hear Pretty Girls soon. Iggy could certainly use a hit right now since Beg For It under-performed and Trouble isn’t charting, not to mention her recent tour postponement and social media blackout.
Fingers crossed that Pretty Girls will be the song to put Britney and Iggy back on top again. If it ends up flopping, then it’s going to be a seriously bad look for both artists.
